Word of he Day.... Pegging

One of the greatest things out there in today's world as far as I am concerned is the access to so much  information at the tip of your fingertips!  I completely LOVE learning new things!  For instance, I decided to look up "Anal Sex" for this blog and was over whelmed at the information out there!  There is nothing I can say that is totally unique, that someone else has not said, discovered, found out, or experienced.  My last blog did talk a bit about my personal experience but still, WOW is there a lot of information out there!  I did even learn something new which again, is totally cool.  Wikipedia is one of the places that came up first and this is what they said about anal sex....
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anal_sex

Anal sex (also called anal intercourse) is the sex act in which the penis is inserted into the anus of a sexual partner. The term can also include other sexual acts involving the anus, including pegging, anilingus, fingering, and object insertion.

While anal sex is commonly associated with male homosexuality, research shows not all gay males engage in anal sex and that it is not uncommon in heterosexual relationships. Types of anal sex can also be a part of lesbian sexual practices.

Many people find anal sex pleasurable, and some may reach orgasm — through stimulation of the prostate in men, and clitoral and G-Spot leg stimulation in women. However, many people find it painful as well, sometimes extremely so, which may be primarily due to psychological factors in some cases.

As with most forms of sexual interaction, anal sex participants risk contracting sexually transmitted diseases; anal sex is considered a high-risk sexual practice because of the vulnerability of the anus and rectum. The anal and rectal tissues are delicate and do not provide natural lubrication, so they can easily tear and permit disease transmission, especially if lubricant is not used. Unprotected anal sex is considered the riskiest form of sexual intercourse; authorities such as the WHO issue recommendations for making anal sex safer.

Well that is the technical information on anal sex.  One question I have about this whole thing is that it says "G-Spot leg stimulation in women."  What the heck does that mean?  I didn't realize I had a "G-Spot" in my leg... maybe I should look for it :O)

Ok, now the point on the Word of the Day.... Pegging.  I had no idea there was such a word, let alone what it means in reference to anal sex!  I asked a friend if he knew what it was and was surprised that he did.  So Pegging... Wikipedia's definition..... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pegging_%28sexual_practice%29

Pegging is a sexual practice in which a woman penetrates a man's anus with a strap-on dildo. The neologism "pegging" was popularized when it became the winning entry in a contest in Dan Savage's Savage Love sex advice column, held after an observation was made that there was no common name for the act.

Well that is all for tonight.  I hope that you all have a fantastic evening and maybe like me, you learned something new.  Feel free to tell me something even... I love to learn new things :O)

Happy Reading!

    1. Very interesting question Leann! I have looked and have not found an official name for it, I even asked my daughter who happens to be a lesbian and she had not even heard the term Pegging before I mentioned it so no luck there except that she said that she said she would call it "Fucking" :O) If I find out the answer somewhere, I will be sure and let you know. If you do, feel free to let me know as well! I am glad to hear that I make you curious :O)
